creative producer
Over 25 years I've been privileged to work with brilliant creative people across many genres, including visual art, dance, music, theatre, and outdoor arts. It's made me passionate about the power of creativity as a vehicle for social change, improving peoples lives and wellbeing. I work with people who share my values and want to make exceptional work.
My expertise is in:
-
Creative education programmes, particularly for children & young people
-
Co-created programmes with diverse communities that support wellbeing
-
Cross-sector working, particularly with education, heritage & health partners
-
Evaluation and research evidencing impact of creative programming
-
Community engagement, particularly with marginalised or underserved communities
I want every project to be inspiring, the people involved to have meaningful experiences, and to understand the difference each project has made and why that matters. I'll help to develop ideas and secure resources, I'll create systems and frameworks to support success, I'll collect evidence and analyse impact. I can adapt to what's needed, from consultation or a critical friend to managing a programme from beginning to end.
When you want solutions rather than just highlighting problems, considered perspectives rather than opinions and laser sharp clarity of thought, Bec is the person to call. We have been delighted with what she brings to the table - her mix of creating, producing and developing skills is quite unique and a huge asset to any team

Every organisation needs sustainable resources to make excellent work. Building sustainability strategies is a challenge in every arts organisation, large or small. I work with organisations to help them identify short and long-term aims and routes to achieving them. I collaborate with organisations to interrogate their business or project plans; raising ambition, getting more from resources, making meaningful partnerships and embedding ethical approaches to working with diverse communities, staff and contractors.
I work with organisations to understand and communicate the value and impact of their work with communities, providing evidence to support more sustainable income for their projects. Articulating aims and outcomes clearly, I create evaluation frameworks and data collection tools, embed reflective practice in teams, analyse, interpret and report results. I encourage organisations to shape evidence-led, ambitious, longer-term goals.
I incorporate my experience working with high-need communities to help organisations to embed considered, authentic practices that support wellbeing, environmental sustainability, build strong partnerships across art forms and sectors, develop cohesive programmes of work and identify new income streams.
Bec's skills as a creative producer, evaluator, and developer combine to make her an invaluable collaborator when it comes to developing programmes and projects. She understands how artists, the sector, and funders work, and can combine all this knowledge to co-create the most innovative strategies to help our shows take flight.

I have worked with Bec on a variety of projects over the years. Her ability to thoughtfully respond to a brief, focus on priorities, build convincing proposals, nurture meaningful relationships as well as well-organised campaigns sets her apart. She is also a great critical and reliable friend to colleagues
